NAOGAON, Nov 21, 2024 (BSS) - District police in a drive held a fugitive
murder accused from Konabari in Gazipur today.

The detainee was Bulbul Hossain, 35, hailed from Patnitala upazila in the
district. He was accused in sensational Sumon murder case filed with
Patnitala Thana.

Additional Police Super Gaziur Rahman said in a press conference at Police
Super's office in the town this noon. He said on information Naogaon police
conducted a raid in Konabari area with the help of Gazipur police early
morning today and held Bulbul.

At 10:30 pm on 17 November in a live video at Facebook Sumon, a resident in
Mahadebpur upazila said somebody was trying to kill him. Later, police found
his body which was hanging from a tree in Mahadebpur-Patnitala Road on the
day.
