CHANDPUR, Nov 22, 2024 (BSS) - Police arrested nine suspected members of a juvenile gang (Kishor Gang) from the railway line area under the Hajiganj municipality of ?? the district in the early hours of today.

The identities of the juvenile gang members could not be known immediately, officer-in-charge (OC) of Hajiganj Police Station Muhammad Mohiuddin Faruk told BSS.

Based on secret information, a team of Hajiganj Thana Police conducted a raid in the railway line area of ??the Hajiganj municipal and arrested them around 1am.

The arrested were involved in various criminal activities including robbery, theft, hijacking, drug dealing and anti-social activities, OC said.

Legal action is under process, the OC added.
