NOAKHALI, Nov 22, 2024 (BSS) - A day-long free medical camp was held today on the premises of the Washekpur High School under Sonaimuri upazila of the district.

The free medical camp was held under the initiative of Anti-discrimination student movement platform with the support of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to provide treatment and medicine to the poor patients free of cost.

A total of 21 specialist doctors from various hospitals in Dhaka provided treatment and free medicines among the 2,000 patients of the area.

Most of the patients were women and children, who were suffering from cold-related skin and allergy problem.
