THAKURGAON, Nov 23, 2024, (BSS) - The District Committee of the Civic Platform was restructured aimed at establishing a sensitive, non-communal and democratic society.

The committee was unanimously restructured with Zakir Mostafiz Milu as convener and Moushumi Rahman and Shankar Kumar Dey as joint conveners.

The decision for reshuffling the committee was taken in the quarterly activation meeting of
Thakurgaon Citizen Platform District Committee on Saturday. 

Organized by Democracy Watch in the meeting hall of TFC under the chairmanship of Moushumi Rahman, the joint convener of the Citizen Platform, the organization's joint convener Zakir Mostafiz Milu, member Shankar Kumar Dey, Biplab, Bilkis Akhter Banu, Rumi Akhter addressed the meeting, among others.

During the meeting, the implementation of the three-month action plan and future plans were adopted.

In the meeting also decided to exchange views with the administration and hold discussion and yard meetings on various social awareness issues. Besides, visual exhibition and cultural events will be organized to this end.

 Later, the meeting ended with the performance of patriotic songs.
