NETRAKONA, Nov 26, 2024 (BSS) - An 80-day training program for grass-root apprentice women entrepreneurs of the district began here today.

A project for flourishing of grass-root level women entrepreneurs in financial empowerment, Netrakona in cooperation with Jatiya Mohila Sangstha and women and child affairs ministry jointly organized the training program on "Beautification, fashion designing, interior design and event management" in Satpai area here.

Deputy Commissioner of Netrakona Bonani Biswash formally inaugurated the training program as chief guest.

Chaired by associate professor of Netrakona government college Soruj Mustafa, the inaugural function was addressed, among others, by additional deputy commissioner (education) Netrakona Samima Yasmin and member secretary of Netrakona district press club Mahabubul Kibria Chowdhory Halim.

A total of 300 grass-root level apprentice women entrepreneurs of the district participated in the training program.
