Netrakona, Nov 27, 2024 (BSS) - Netrakona district administration today organized a memorial meeting commemorating the martyrs of July-August mass uprising at the Deputy Commissioner’s conference room.

Chaired by Deputy Commissioner Netrakona Bonani Biswash, the meeting was addressed, among others, by district police super Mirza Saiem Mahmud, additional district magistrate Shamim –AL- Imran,  Upazila Nirbahi officer of sader upazila  Asma Binte Rafique and  district unit convener of Anti-discrimination student movement Sheikh Hasnat Joni.

The family members of martyrs and injured persons were present at the memorial meeting.
After the meeting, a special munajat was offered seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of all the martyrs of student-led mass uprising and early recovery of all the injured persons of the movement.
