MADARIPUR, Dec 7, 2024 (BSS)- A memorial meeting was held at Kalkini upazila in the district today recalling the contribution of the martyrs and injured persons of the July-August Mass Uprising.

Local administration organized it at upazila meeting room with Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Uttam Kumar Das in the chair.

Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mahbuba Islam, Upazila BNP Convener Bir Muktijoddha Fazlul Haque Bepari and family members of the martyrs and injured in the July-August mass uprising movement were also present.

Special prayers were also offered there seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of the martyrs and speedy recovery of the injured ones.
