CHANDPUR, Dec 09, 2024 (BSS) - The ferry service on the Chandpur-Shariatpur river route resumed this morning following a five-hour disruption caused by heavy fog.
 
"The ferry movement between Harina and Narsinghapur Alubazar was suspended around 4am due to poor visibility caused by heavy fog, disconnecting communications on the both sides of the route," said Faisal Alam Chowdhury, Harina Ferry Ghat Manager of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC).

The ferry services resumed around 9am, he added.
