BRAHMANBARIA, Dec 11, 2024 (BSS) - Three people including a child were killed 
and six others injured in a three-way collision involving a truck, a pick-up 
van and a microbus in Bijoynagar upazila of the district this morning.

The deceased were Fazilatunnesa, 75, wife of late Latu Miah and Pavel, 30, 
son of Lokman, residents of Nasirnagar upazila and 11-month old Raisa Aktar, 
daughter of Manik Mia of Madhavpur under Habiganj district.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Brahmanbaria's Khantihata Highway Police Station Md 
Margub Touhid said the incident took place in Birpasha area on the Dhaka-
Sylhet highway around 6 am.

The injured were sent to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital, he added.
