KISHOREGANJ, Dec 11, 2024 (BSS) - Police recovered the body of a woman from a water body in the Bagpara area under Katiadi upazila of the district today after one day of her missing.

The victim is Kushnahar, daughter of Samsu Miah, of the village.

Being informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body which legs and hands were tied with rope at noon from Machua beel of the area and sent it to Shahid Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy, said in-charge of Gachihata Investigation Centre Akhtaruzzaman Khan.

Police arrested three persons in this connection, he said.
