MYMENSINGH, Dec 12, 2024 (BSS) - A youth was stabbed to death by snatcher in Habirbari Paragaon area under Bhaluka upazila of the district last night.

The victim was Shakib, 25, son of Haijuddin Shikder, a resident of Shikdarpara-Gouripur village of the upazila.

Sub-inspector of Bhaluka Police Station Shafiullah Mirza said snatcher Ruhul stabbed Shakib when he intercepted him while stealing auto rickshaw.

Injured Shakib was taken to Bhaluka Upazila Health Complex where on-duty doctor declared him dead.

Police arrested snatcher Ruhul.
