CHATTOGRAM, Dec 12, 2024 (BSS)- Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) has recovered a body of an airline employee from city’s Patenga link road area this morning. 

The deceased was identified as Osman Sikder, an office assistant of the civil aviation authority at Chattogram Shah Amanat International Airport, police said.

Osman’s younger brother and Hathazari Upazila Hefazat-e-Islam General Secretary Emran Sikder alleged that his brother was killed due to a previous enmity. A group of miscreants abducted Osman from his residence around 3 am on Wednesday. 

Roish Uddin, Deputy Commissioner (Crime) of CMP said the body bore marks of injuries and it was sent to morgue of Chattogram Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

Preparations to file a case are underway, police said.
