KURIGRAM, Dec 17, 2024 (BSS) - Members of BGB-35 Battalion in separate drives seized huge drugs worth Taka 6.18 lakh from different areas of Rowmari frontier in the district.

A BGB team conducted the drives in Nawdapara and Ijlamari border areas of Rowmari upazila recently and seized 332 bottles of Indian liquor and 190 pieces of contraband yaba tablets, said Rowmari Sadar Company Commander Subedar A. Hai today.

Jamalpur BGB-35 Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Md. Hasanur Rahman (PSC) said BGB is firmly performing its duty to prevent all types of smuggling in the border areas.
