KHULNA, Dec 20, 2024 (BSS) - Police arrested one of the listed notorious terrorists identified as Sagar Biswash alias Haddi Sagar alias Belal Hossain with firearms and ammunition in the city last night.

Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) held a press conference at Sonadanga Model Police Station this noon and revealed that Sagar was the third among 12 listed terrorists.

On a tip-off, a police team from Sonadanga Model Police Station arrested Sagar from C&B Colony playground last night.

The team also recovered one foreign-made pistol with three round of bullet and one magazine from him.

Addressing the press conference, Deputy Police Commissioner Momiruzzaman Mithu said Sagar was an absconding terrorist accused in seven criminal cases, including killing, robbery and drug-trading.

Recently, police also announced a bounty for his arrest. 
 
Additional Deputy Commissioner Ahsan Habib and Assistant Commissioner Azam Khan were present.
