DINAJPUR, Dec 20, 2024 (BSS) - Two motorcycle riders were killed in a road

accident in Kabirajhat area on Dinajpur-Panchagarh highway in Birganj upazila of
the district today.

The deceased were Madhab Roy, 24, and Dipu Roy of Mashalpur village in
Chirirbandar upazila of the district.

The accident occurred when a truck and a motorbike collided head-on in the area
leaving bike rider Madhab dead on the spot and another rider critically injured.

Police said Dipu was sent to Birganj Upazila Health Complex, where he
succumbed to his injuries.

The bodies were sent to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital for postmortem.

Police seized the truck from the spot.

Legal action has been taken in this connection.
