CHANDPUR, Dec 21, 2024 (BSS) - Two motorbike riders were killed in a road accident at Kamta Bazar Subidpur in Faridganj upazila of the district today.

The victims were identified as Shahadat Hossain, 16, son of Obaidullha and Iqbal Hossain, 17, son of Md Khaje Ahmed of Mulpara village of the upazila.

The accident occurred when a motorbike collided head-on with CNG-run auto- rickshaw, leaving bike riders Shahadat and Iqbal injured critically. 

Locals rescued them and sent to Chandpur General Hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.

Police said the bodies were handed over to their family members after completion of legal work.
