RANGPUR, Dec 27, 2024 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 in a drive arrested a couple with 351.38 grams of contraband heroin from Satmatha More area in Rangpur city on Thursday evening.
 
On a tip off, a smart operational team of the Crime Prevention Specialized Company of RAB-13 conducted the drive, recovered 351.38 grams of heroin and arrested the couple red-handed people from the spot, a press release said here this afternoon
 
The arrested persons are Md Jahangir Alam ,36, and his Most Sabina Begum ,32, of Rajarampur village in Sadar upazila of Chapainawabganj district.
 
After filing a case under the Narcotics Control Act, 2018 against the arrested accused, the elite force handed them over to Mahiganj police station of Rangpur Metropolitan Police, the release also said.
