FENI, Dec 28, 2024 (BSS) - A boy drowned in a pond at Satkuchia village under

Parshuram upazila of the district this morning.

The boy was identified as Ridwan Islam Radib, 8, son of Ripon, a resident of
Anandapur village of the upazila.

Quoting locals, police said Radib was playing with other children near the
pond adjacent to their house and slipped into it and drowned.

He went to visit his grandfather's house a few days ago with his mother,
police added.
