HABIGANJ, Dec 28, 2024 (BSS) - A man was killed and three others injured in a road accident in Kalardoba area under Banischong upazila of the district today.

The deceased was Jony Miah, 26, son of Sahid Miah, a resident of Muslimpur village under Kaliajuri upazila in Netrakona district.

The accident took place in the area around 1:00 pm when a CNG-run auto-rickshaw collided head-on with another one, leaving four passengers of both vehicles injured, said Alamgir Kabir, Officer-in-Charge of Habiganj Sadar Police Station.

The injured were sent to Habiganj Sadar Hospital where Jony succumbed to his injuries, he said.
