JHENAIDAH, Dec 29, 2024 (BSS) - A youth was crushed under the wheels of a
train in Babra area near Mubarakganj Railway Station under Kaliganj upazila
of the district this afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Arafat Hossain, 20, son of Shafiuddin, a
resident of Arpara village of the upazila.

The accident took place when a Rajshahi-bound train from Khulna crushed the
youth in the area around 3 pm, said Touhidur Rahman, station master of
Mubarakganj Railway Station.

Police recovered the body and sent it to Jashore General Hospital morgue.
