NARAIL, Dec 31, 2024 (BSS) -A businessman was killed in a road accident at the Chowgacha bus stand on the Narail-Lohagarah highway under Sadar upazila of the district this morning.

The deceased was identified as Imdadul Molla, 42, son of Jamal Molla of Bhurikhali village of Auria union under Sadar upazila.

Officer in Charge (OC) Sajedul Islam of Narail Sadar Police Station said,"Grocery trader Imdadul died on the spot after being struck by a speedy bus at around 10:30 am when he was crossing the road with his bike"

The body of the victim will be handed over to his relatives after completing necessary legal procedures..
