RANGPUR, Feb 8, 2025 (BSS) - In line with the Ekushey Book Fair 2025, Dr
Zakia Sumi's book "Honey Life Funny Stories" has been published with 21
stories on 72 pages with an artistic cover in line with the story.
The physician cum writer and Rangpur Medical College lecturer has presented
funny stories, stories of experiences and stories of student-teacher
relationships in 21 stories in a very simple manner.
The book "Honey Life Funny Stories" has been published by publication house
Pata Prakash.
The cover unveiling function of the book "Honey Life Funny Stories" was held
at the Public Library hall room in the city today (Saturday).
Noted cultural personality and popular physician Dr Mofizul Islam Maantu
attended the function as the chief guest with Associate Professor of Northern
Medical College Dr Shakherul Islam Sarkar in the chair.
Popular novelist Rana Masud, writer S.M. Amjad Hossain, former Deputy
Director of Bangladesh Silk Development Board Md Zillur Rahman, Dr. Subhash
Chandra Sarkar, Vice Principal of Police Lines School and College Md Motaleb
Hossain, President of Rangpur City Press Club Swapan Chowdhury, spoke as
special guests.
The book "Honey Life Funny Stories" was discussed by writer and
paediatrician Dr Ferdous Rahman Palash.
Proprietor of publication house Pata Prakash writer Zakir Ahmed delivered the
welcome speech.
Saba At Tahjir, daughter of the author and a ninth grade student of Rangpur
Cantonment Public School and College, spoke on the cover and decoration of
the book.
The entire programme was moderated by MBBS student of Rangpur Medical College
Durjoy Kumar Das.
Among the 21 stories in the book, there are funny stories, stories of
experience, and stories of student-teacher relationships.
The 72-page book is priced at Taka 250. The book is available at the Ekushey
Book Fair-2025 at stall no 654. The book is also available at Rokmari.com.
At the event, author Dr. Zakia Sumi briefly presented the stories in the
book.
She also presented various aspects of her writing life, doctor's life, and
personal life to the writers and writers who were present at the publication
event.
