RAJSHAHI, Feb 20, 2025 (BSS) - The Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Oikya Parishad panel has won in the election of Rajshahi Bar Association unopposed.

Chief Election Commissioner Sheikh Jahangir Alam Selim said all the 21 candidates of the panel attained victory as there were no rival candidates in the posts.

He, however, said the results will be published formally after three days.

In the election, Abul Kasem and Jamshed Ali were elected president and general secretary of the bar association.

Other office-bearers are: Majijul Haque, Jane Alam and Sanwar Kabir Khan (Vice-presidents), Imtiar Masrur Al Amin and Nur E Kamruzzaman Iran (Joint General Secretary), Adib Imam Dalim (Accounts), Selim Reja Masum (Library), Mahbub Jubery Raju (Audit), Shahjahan Ali Fahim (Press and Information) and Jotyul Islam Safi (Magazine and Culture).

The executive members are: Rawshan Ara Popy, Yeasin Ali, Faisal Alam Noyan Mainur Rahman, Shifat Jerin Tuli, Jakir Hossain, Humayun Kabir Shammi and Rahima Khatun.
