MYMENSINGH, Feb 24, 2025 (BSS) - - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has recovered huge foreign liquors and arrested one drug peddler in this connection during an anti-drug operation on the Netrokona-Sherpur bypass road in the early hours today.

Acting on a tip-off, RAB operated a checkpoint on the Nertrokona-Sherpur bypass road adjacent to Shambuganj-Ragurampur-Tanpara-Chaltagach ground around 1 am and arrested a drug peddler.

The drug peddler identified as Yasin, 26, operates a drug business in the Sherpur-Nalitabari area as known.

During the drive, the RAB team also recovered 253 bottles of foreign liquor from his possession.

Drug peddler Yasin was arrested under the Narcotics Act and the paramilitary force handed over him to Mymensingh Kotwali police station, said commander and additional DIG of RAB-14 Naimul Hasan.
