NETROKONA, Feb 27, 2025 (BSS) - A teenage boy died following electrocution at Singrajan village of Thakurkona union in Sadar upazila today.

The deceased was Badhan Mia, 19, son of Kamrul Hasan Khokon, a resident of the same area.

Kazi Shah Newaz, Officer-in-Charge of Netrakona Model Police Station, said Imran came in contact with an electric wire near a pond when he was fishing there. 

Being informed, police recovered the floating body of Badhan from the pond and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Initially, it is believed that the teenager died following electrocution in an electric trap, the OC said.
