Khulna Divisional Commissioner Md Firoz Sarkar among the persons recieved cheques

Khulna, March 2, 2025 (BSS) - The government has distributed Tk 72 lakh among the families of government employees who passed away while in service or retired due to disability.

Nine families received Tk 8 lakh each under this assistance program.

Khulna Divisional Commissioner Md Firoz Sarkar handed over the cheques at a ceremony held at the divisional commissioner's conference hall on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, the divisional commissioner said the interim government remains committed to providing financial support under its donation distribution policy.

The event was presided over by Additional Divisional Commissioner Md Hussain Shawkat, with the presence of government officials and employees.
