BOGURA, March 3, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed in a road accident in 
Majhira Port area under Shajahanpur upazila of the district today.

The deceased was Mirajul Islam, 25, son of Hazel Mia, a resident of Gaynakuri 
village of the upazila.

The accident occurred when a speeding truck hit a standing rickshaw on the 
Dhaka-Rangpur highway around 11am, leaving rickshaw puller Mirajul dead on 
the spot, said Azizul Islam, in-charge of Sherpur Highway Police Camp.

Police recovered the body and handed it over to the family members after 
completing the legal process.

A case was filed in this connection.
