JHALAKATHI, March 9, 2025 (BSS) - A preparatory meeting to chalk out an
elaborate programme in observance of the Genocide Day and the Independence
Day was held at conference room of the Deputy Commissioner here this morning.
 
Deputy Commissioner Ashrafur Rahman presided over the meeting.
 
Heads of departments of all government and private organisations of the
district, representatives of law enforcement agencies, heads of educational
institutions and concerned persons were present in the meeting.
 
Civil Surgeon Dr. Humayun Kabir, Additional Deputy Commissioner Md. Kawsar
Hossain, Press Club President Kazi Khalilur Rahman, among others, were also
present in the meeting.
