TANGAIL, March 10, 2025 (BSS) - A mobile court of the Department of Environment fined Taka 8 lakh to three brick kilns for running illegally in Ghatail upazila of the district today.

A team of the mobile court led by upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Sabrin Akhter and Assistant Director of the District Environment Department Sajib Kumar Ghosh conducted drives and fined M/s Asia Bricks Taka 3 lakh, M/s SK Bricks Taka 3 lakh and M/s SR Bricks Taka 2 lakh for making and burning bricks without complying with the Brick Kiln Establishment Regulation Act. 

The drive will continue to protect the environment, Sajib Kumar Ghosh said.
