NARSINGDI, March 12, 2025 (BSS) - A total of 3,71,458 children will be fed Vitamin A plus capsules here in the district on March 15, as a part of the ongoing nationwide Vitamin A plus campaign.

Children aged between 6-11 months will be fed blue colour Vitamin A plus capsule and those between 12-59 months will be administered red colour Vitamin A plus tablets at 1,764 centres across the district, Civil Surgeon Dr Syed Amirul Huq Shamim told a press conference at the conference room of his office this morning.

Although the national medical campaign is held twice a year, Dr Shamim noted that the last time the campaign could not be done due to unavoidable reasons.

He stressed the importance of the campaign and sought cooperation from the workers involved and guardians concerned for the success of the national drive for better health of people.
