BOGRA, March 15, 2025 (BSS) - The social services office of the 250 Bedded Mohammad Ali Hospital has launched its Zakat collection drive today in the district in observance of the holy month of Ramadan.

Superintendent of the hospital Kazi Mizanur Rahman inaugurated the two-day long initiative at 10:30am at the hospital premises.

Zakat, one of the five pillars of Islam, is an obligatory annual charity meant to purify wealth and assist those in need, promoting social justice and economic balance within the Muslim community.
