RANGPUR, March 24, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 in two dives
arrested two alleged drug traffickers with contraband drugs heroin and
phensedyl from different places in Nilphamari and Lalmonirhat districts on
Sunday.
 
"The seized drugs included 105 grams of heroin and 247 bottles of smuggled
phensedyl," two separate press releases said today.

On a tip-off, the Crime Prevention Company (CPC)-2 of RAB-13 from its
Nilphamari Camp arrested a woman with 105 grams of heroin from Chini Masjid
Supari Bagan area in Saidpur municipal town of Nilphamari district at 5:50
pm.

The detainee was identified as Most Amena Khatun, 50, wife of late Khurshid
Ali of Islambag area in Saidpur municipality under Saidpur upazila of
Nilphamari district.

In another raid, the Crime Prevention Specialised Company (CPC)-1 of RAB-13
from its Rangpur headquarters arrested a man with 247 bottles of smuggled
phensedyl from village Khamarbhati under Kaliganj upazila in Lalmonirhat
district at 8 am.

The arrested man was identified as Md Dabiar Rahman, 45, wife of late Omar
Ali of village Khamarbhati under Kaliganj upazila of Lalmonirhat district.

"The elite force handed over the arrested persons to the Saidpur police
station in Nilphamari and Kaliganj police station in Lalmonirhat respectively
for further legal action," the releases added.
