RAJSHAHI, Nov 2, 2021 (BSS)- Academics and literates paid rich tribute to

Shaheed Abul Hasnat Muhammad Qamaruzzaman, one of the four national leaders,
illustrating his life and works, including his supreme sacrifice to the
nation.

    People of Rajshahi and the country as well can never forget the nation-
building contribution of Shaheed Qamaruzzaman as his lifelong struggle for
the nation will remain in people's heart.

    The speakers came up with the observations while unfolding the book
titled 'National Leader AHM Qamaruzzaman' at Shaheed AHM Qamaruzzaman
Auditorium in Rajshahi city on Monday afternoon.

    Written by Dr Salim Sabrin, the book portrayed the life and works of
Shaheed AHM Qamaruzzaman elaborately.

    Vice-chancellor of Rajshahi University (RU) Prof Golam Sabbir Sattar
addressed the ceremony as chief guest with former Chairman of Rajshahi
Education Board Prof Tanbirul Alam in the chair.

    Prof Pronab Kumar Pandey from the Department of Public Administration in
RU spoke on the occasion as focal person.

    Director of RU's Institute of Education and Research Prof Chitta Ranjan
Mishra, Kabi Kunja President Prof Ruhul Amin Pramanik, local unit president
of Bangabandhu Parishad Ariful Haque, English Translator of the book Dr
Mustafizur Rahman and Publisher of Utsa Prokashoni Mostofa Selim also spoke.

     In his remarks, Prof Golam Sabbir said Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman
and Bangladesh are integrated. Likewise, Bangabandhu and the four national
leaders are incorporated because the relation between Bangabandhu and the
four national leaders was heartened.

    Prof Golam Sabbir said AHM Qamaruzzaman had multidimensional
characteristics. So, establishment of Shaheed AHM Qamaruzzaman Research
Centre has become the demand of time.
