Holy Shab-e-Qadr observed in Rangpur

RANGPUR, March 28, 2025 (BSS) - Hundreds of Muslims observed the holy night of Shab-e-Qadr in the divisional city and all over the district with due religious festivity last night. 
 
The Muslims believe that the most important night of Shab-e-Qadr bears huge importance as on this night the Almighty Allah sent the Holy Qur'an as a full code of conduct for mankind on earth. 
 
After offering the Esha and Tarabih prayers, the Musollis attended special discussions on the most meaningful night of forgiveness and fortune in the city mosques and the district as a whole, offered `nafl' prayers till Fazr prayers and recited from the holy Qur'an.

Hussaine elaborately discussed the importance of the holy night at the mosque in presence of thousands of Musollis last night.
 
He conducted special munajats seeking divine blessings for forgiveness of the sins committed in the pasts, long life, peace, progress, good health and happiness for the Musollis, their families, relatives and eternal peace for their departed parents and generations. 
 
He also offered munajats seeking acceptance of the fasting of the Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan and for the welfare of the people of Bangladesh and whole Muslim Ummah, peace and security of the country and its people.  
 
Most of the mosques were specially illuminated, milad mehfils, `zikrs' were organised and `tobaraks' distributed both in the city, urban and rural areas and important places in the district. 
 
Many Musollis stayed for the whole night at mosques, offered special prayers and `ziarats' at the graveyards sought forgiveness and eternal peace for all. 
 
The Keramotia Jam-e-Mosque, Khasbag Jam-e-Mosque, Satmatha Jam-e-Mosque, Nasirabad 
Ekramia Jam-e-Mosque, Jamtola Jam- e- Mosque, Dhap Jam-e-Mosque, Central Bus Terminal Jam-e-Mosque, Kamal Kachna Jam-e-Mosque and many other Mosques remained crowded with the Musollis who stayed there for the whole night and offered 'nafl' prayers.
