SAVAR, April 2, 2025 (BSS) – Thousands of Eid holidaymakers have thronged amusement centers in Savar and Dhamrai to enjoy Eid vacation on the third day of the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.

From this morning, people along with their family members from different districts including the capital Dhaka flocked to popular amusement destinations like Fantasy Kingdom and Nandan Park in Ashulia’s Jamgora area here and other entertainment spots in Dhamrai.

Both adults and children joined the festive atmosphere to enjoy the Eid vacation. To ensure a smooth environment, amusement park authorities have taken heightened security measures.

While visiting different amusement spots, Fantasy Kingdom and Nandan Park were seen bustling with the presence of huge holidaymakers from all ages.

Besides, Aladdin Park and Neela Barsha Park in Dhamrai also witnessed an overwhelming number of visitors to enjoy the vacation. Children were seen running around joyfully, making endless demands to ride cars, horses, and other attractions. Adults too joined in the fun, ensuring that everyone—young and old—enjoyed the holiday to the fullest.

Amzad Hossain and Arafat Azam Imran came to Fantasy Kingdom with their family members to enjoy the Eid vacation.

Talking to BSS they shared their excitement, saying the Eid holiday was special here, and the kids were enjoying themselves.

Amzad Hossain, who came from Dadhighata in Dhamrai, said, “It feels great to be here. I visit this spot every year, and this time is no different”.

Visitors were seen enjoying exciting adventure rides, including roller coasters and trains, as part of their Eid celebrations. Youngsters were dancing to music while splashing in the blue waters of artificial wave pools, embracing the festive spirit with boundless joy. Regardless of age, everyone was celebrating Eid holiday together.

Talking to BSS, Chief Marketing Officer of Concord Group Anup Kumar Sarker said to attract visitors during the Eid holidays, Fantasy Kingdom authorities have introduced special events and new rides like every year.

“This year, we have arranged something unique like previous occasions. Special security measures have been taken to ensure visitors’ safety. Three new rides have been introduced to enhance the experience for entertainment lovers.”

With these exciting additions, he said, visitors can enjoy a more thrilling and memorable Eid celebration at the amusement parks.

Additional Superintendent of Police for Dhaka District Shahinur Kabir told BSS that effective security measures have been taken at amusement centers to maintain law and order during the Eid vacation. Besides, multiple police patrol teams have been deployed at various entertainment venues to ensure visitors’ safety, he added.
