MANIKGANJ, April 7, 2025 (BSS) - People from all walks of life here today observed a strike, blockade, and protest, expressing solidarity with the global movement condemning the ongoing killings in Gaza.

The protest programme was announced earlier by the Hefazat-e-Islam Manikganj district unit along with several other religious and social organisations.

Through social media, they urged mass participation to raise a collective voice against mass killing in Gaza.

Terming the violence a clear act of genocide, the organisers called upon the global community to stand by the people of Palestine and act to ensure their protection.
