into fundamental rights amid the present era of digital Bangladesh.

sharing meeting on its draft fuel policy at Hotel Mukta International in
Rajshahi city on Thursday.

environment and natural resources together with promotion and use of
renewable energies is very important for protecting both climate and life.
Time has come to protect the natural resources including the wetlands and
water bodies for restoring the green atmosphere.
Prof Chowdhury Sarwar Jahan told the meeting there is an enormous scope of
reducing the gradually mounting pressure on fossil fuel through substantial
and sustainable promotion of renewable energies in both rural and urban
areas.
He added the issues of renewable energies, mass-awareness on fuel, rights
and access of marginalized populations on fuel and climate change should be
prioritized.
Prof Sarwar Jahan said emphasis should be given to motivating the public
in general for using renewable energies as a whole besides protecting its
resources from further destruction.
All the government and non-government organisations concerned should come
forward and patronize the sector for its successful promotion for the sake of
its existing potential along with building a green environment.
