GAIBANDHA, Dec 11, 2021 (BSS)- Over 800 ultra-poor inhabitants of
Kunderpara and Kharzanir chars under Kamarjani union of Sadar upazila on
Friday got blankets from Gana Unnayan Kendra(GUK), a local non-government
voluntary organisation.

   The blankets were distributed to the cold affected char dwellers with the
financial support of Muslim Around The World (MATW).

   Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GUK M Abdus Salam distributed the
blankets to the beneficiaries as the chief guest while its coordinator Aftab
Hossain, programe manager Joya Prosad and other officials were presenton the
occasion.

   Abdus Salam said warm clothes distribution activities for cold-hit people
would be continued during the current winter season to mitigate their
sufferings caused by cold wave.
