GOPALGANJ, Dec 31, 2021 (BSS) - A motorcycle rider was killed and his

father injured in a road accident on the Dhaka-Khulna highway in Ghonapara
area under Gopalganj Sadar upazila this afternoon.  

     The victim was identified as Touhidul Islam, 40, son of Akkas Mollah, a
resident of Khagrabari village under Kashiani upazila of the district.  

     Police said Touhidul Islam was going to Khulna Medical College Hospital
with his father. The accident occurred when biker Touhidul fell on the
highway as he lost control over the bike.  

     Locals rescued them and sent them to Gopalganj 250-bed General Hospital
where on-duty doctor declared Touhidul dead.
