RANGPUR, Dec 31, 2021 (BSS) - Rangpur Metropolitan Police (RpMP) distributed blankets among 185 female students of Hajirhat Babe Medina Hifzul Quran Mohila Cadet Madrasha in the metropolis today.
 
RpMP Commissioner Mohammad Abdul Alim Mahmud distrbuited the blankets in a function arranged on the madrassa premises by ‘Manobotar Bondhone Rangpur’, a voluntary organization founded under his patronisation, as the chief guest.
 
President of ‘Manobotar Bondhone Rangpur’ and Assistant Commissioner of Police of RpMP Jamir Uddin, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Porshuram Zone) Arifuzzaman, Officer-in-Charge of Hajirhat police station Rajibuzzaman Bosunia and Superinetendent of the madrasha Rafikul Islam and other police officials were present.
 
The RpMP Commissioner, also Chief Adviser of ‘Manobotar Bondhone Rangpur’, called upon affluent people for distributing blankets among cold-affected poor and distressed people to stand beside them and mitigate their sufferings.
 
He also urged different sociocultural, professional, voluntary and trade organizations and financial institutions to stand beside cold-hit people with warm clothes to lessen their miseries.
