PANCHAGARH, Jan 1, 2022 (BSS) - Primary and secondary students have started getting free new textbooks in festive mood in the district like other parts of the country on Saturday, the first day of the new year 2022.

  On the occasion, a book distribution programme was held on the premises of Panchagarh Government Girls High School.

  Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Panchagarh Md Johurul Islam formally inaugurated the free book distribution programme by releasing balloons as the chief guest.

  District education officer Md Sahin Akter, NDC Mahabul Hasan, headmaster of Panchagarh govt. Girls school Md Mahamudul Huque and guardians were present.

  Later, the chief guest and other guests handed over the book among the students.

  The students and their guardians have been satisfied to the government after getting free of cost book.

 According to the sources concerned, free book distribution programme has been arranged in each of the school to handover books among the students.
