RAJSHAHI, April 03, 2026 (BSS) – The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized a huge quantity of Indian electrical goods at Charghat border here in the early hours of today.

“Based on secret information, the BGB personnel of Yusufpur BOP under Rajshahi Battalion (1 BGB) conducted the raid at about 12.05 am today,” said a press release this noon.

Sensing the presence of BGB men, two people fled away,  leaving a packet in Sipahipara Ambagan area under Charghat police station, it said.

Later, the BGB members searched the packet and recovered 15,000 pieces of Indian electrical resistance inside it.
