RANGPUR, Jan 11, 2022 (BSS) - Some 1,35,395 more citizens were
inoculated with the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine today raising the
total number of the first dose recipients to 94,26,274 in Rangpur
division.

  "Among the 1,35,395 new first dose recipients, 61,221 were
inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 40 with Sinopharm Covid-19
jabs and 74,134 others with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs today," said
Divisional Director (Health) Dr Abu Md Zakirul Islam at 8:50 pm.

   The total first dose recipient 94,26,274 citizens include 36,38,688
people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 51,85,368 people
with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,31,849 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs and
4,70,369 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs.

  Meanwhile, the number of the second dose recipients of Covid-19
vaccine rose to 58,25,544 with inoculation of more 38,150 people with
the second dose of the jabs today in the division.

   Among the 38,150 second dose recipient citizens, 14,887 people were
inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 20,665 with Sinopharm
Covid-19 vaccine and 2,598 with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine in the
division today.

   The second dose recipient 58,25,544 citizens include 12,80,725
inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 43,61,740 with Sinopharm
Covid-19 jabs, 1,25,779 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs and 57,300 with
Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine.

  Besides, the number of the booster dose recipients of Covid-19
vaccine reached 53,532 people with the inoculation of 3,301 more
citizens with the booster dose of the Covid-19 jabs today in the
division.

  "The 53,532 booster dose recipients include 49,999 people vaccinated
with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs and 3,533 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs,"
Dr. Islam added.
