RAJSHAHI, July 9, 2021 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in an anti-crime drive, arrested an alleged drug peddler with 2,984 yaba tablets here last night.
 
According to the RAB sources, the arrested person was identified as Muhammad Badal, 36, son of late Jalal Uddin of Islampur village under Nachole Upazila in Chapainawabganj district.
 
A team of the elite force, being informed, conducted a raid in the Kalahir Bazar area under Nachole Upazila and arrested him with the huge yaba tablets around 8.30 pm red-handed, they said today.
 
The arrested person along with the seized goods was handed over to police after recording a case with Nachole Police Station in this connection.
