KISHOREGANJ, Aug 22, 2026 (BSS) - A man was killed in a road accident in Bahadia area under Pakundia upazila of the district this morning.
 
The deceased was identified as Nuruzzaman, 60, son of Abdul Quddus of Bahadia Akand Bari of the upazila. 
 
Police said the accident took place on the Dhaka-Kishoreganj highway when a private car hit Nuruzzaman while he was crossing the road.
 
He fell onto the road and sustained serious head injuries. Local people rescued him and took him to a hospital, but he died on the way.
 
Officer-in-Charge of Pakundia Police Station S M Arifur Rahman confirmed the matter.
