GAIBANDHA, July 9, 2021 (BSS) - As many as 100 shop keepers hardest hit by ongoing corona situation and strict lockdown got food aid as gift of the Prime Minister (PM) through the sadar upazila administration.

A distribution function organized by the upazila administration was held on the ground of Islamia High School of the district town with Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Abdur Rafiul Alam in the chair.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Abdul Matin attended the function and addressed it as the chief guest.

President of district shop owners association Moksuder Rahman Sahan and upazila project implementation officer Anisur Rahman also spoke at the function among others.

Each of the shopkeepers got a package of food materials containing rice, pulse, salt, sugar, suzi as gift of the PM.
