RANGPUR, Jan 31, 2022 (BSS) - Some 28,092 more citizens were
inoculated with the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine today raising the
number of the first dose recipients to 1,07,83,500 in Rangpur
division.
"Among the 28,092 new first dose recipients, 21,111 were inoculated
with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 4,005 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs and
2,976 Pfizer Covid-19 jabs today," said Divisional Director (Health)
Dr Abu Md Zakirul Islam at 9 pm.
The total first dose recipient 1,07,83,500 citizens include
38,02,833 people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 51,80,610
people with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,31,849 with Moderna Covid-19
jabs and 16,68,208with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs.
Meanwhile, the number of the second dose recipients of Covid-19
vaccine rose to 65,01,498 with inoculation of more 33,264 people with
the second dose of the jabs today in the division.
Among the 33,264 second dose recipient citizens, 22,134 people were
inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 6,465 with Sinopharm
Covid-19 jabs, 4,567 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs and 98 with Moderna
Covid-19 jabs in the division today.
The second dose recipient 65,01,498 citizens include 15,93,6058
inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 46,33,686 with Sinopharm
Covid-19 jabs, 1,26,973 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs and 1,47,234 with
Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine.
Besides, the number of the booster dose recipients of Covid-19
vaccine reached 1,56,147 people with the inoculation of 3,355 more
citizens with the booster dose of the jabs today in the division.
"The 1,56,147 booster dose recipients include 1,51,682 vaccinated
with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs and 4,465 Pfizer Covid-19 jabs," Dr.
Islam added.
