9,587 more get Covid-19 1st dose vaccine in Rangpur

RANGPUR, Feb 6, 2022 (BSS) – Some 9,587 more citizens were inoculated with the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine today raising the number of the first dose recipients to 1,08,51,290 in Rangpur division.  

“Among the 9,587 new first dose recipients, 3,114 were inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, seven with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,256 Pfizer Covid-19 jabs and 5,210 with Sinovac Covid-19 jabs today,” said Divisional Director (Health) Dr Abu Md Zakirul Islam at 8:40 pm.

The first dose recipient 1,08,51,290 citizens include 38,37,843 people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 51,81,271 people with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,31,849 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs, 16,82,649 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs and 17,678 with Sinovac Covid-19 jabs.

Meanwhile, the number of the second dose recipients of Covid-19 vaccine rose to 66,36,363 with inoculation of more 26,409 people with the second dose of the jabs today in the division.

Among the 26,409 second dose recipient citizens, 9,589 people were inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 3,896 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 13,884 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs and 40 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs in the division today.    
The second dose recipient 66,36,363 citizens include 16,50,640 inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 46,73,948 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,27,177 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs and 1,84,598 with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine.

Besides, the number of the booster dose recipients of Covid-19 vaccine reached 2,02,757 people with the inoculation of 6,587 more citizens with the booster dose of the jabs today in the division.

“The 2,02,757 booster dose recipients include 1,96,4178 vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs and 6,579 Pfizer Covid-19 jabs,” Dr. Islam added.
