CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Feb 8, 2022 (BSS)- 31 more persons were tested positive for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours raising the total number to 6,556 in Chapainawabganj district.

During the last 24 hours, 132 samples were tested. Of them, 31 persons were detected as positive for COVID-19 showing the infection rate 23.48 percent, Civil Surgeon office sources confirmed.

A total of 503 patients in which 14 in dedicated COVID Hospital and others at home are undergoing treatment in the district.

Meanwhile, 164 patients have died of COVID-19 and 5,892 patients with 31 new have recovered from the disease here, the sources added.
