JASHORE, Feb 17, 2022 (BSS) - Two motorcycle riders were killed and
another was injured in a road accident at Satgati Bazar under Monirampur
upazila of the district last night.

     The deceased were identified as Russell Hossain, 16, son of Shabuddin
and Rony Hossain, 17, son of Tabibur Rahman, residents of Bahirghoria village
of the upazila.

     Police said the accident occurred on the Monirampur-Kalibari road when a
speedy motorcycle hit a brick-laden trolley at 7:30 pm, leaving the bike
rider Russell dead on the spot and two other riders Rony and Hridoy injured.

    The injured were sent to Monirampur Upazila Health Complex. Later they
were shifted to Jashore 250-bed hospital where the on duty doctor declared
Rony dead.

    Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Monirampur Police Station Nur-e-Alam Siddiqui
confirmed the matter.

    A case was filed in this connection.
